Come explore the rise of Gothic literature in the late 18th century and how Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus is often used as a prime example of the genre. A brief overview of both genre and novel will be presented followed by questions and answers. Reading Frankenstein is encouraged, but not required.
The event is in connection with Frankenstein Reimagined: A Collage Exhibition, located on the 4th Floor of the SF Main Library.
