Learn the basic rhythms of son jarocho and how to play them on traditional instruments. Instruments include panderos (tambourines), quijada (donkey jawbone), tarima (raised wooden platform played as a drum with the feet) and the jarana jarocho (a stringed guitar-like instrument). As a bonus, participants also will learn about fandango!
