Interested in writing fantasy, romantasy, or science fiction? Sign up for the fantasy/sci-fi six week creative writing course! Join a small group of like-minded writers of all levels and be a part of a free six-week workshop course taught by a creative writing master's candidate.

In this free course, we will read and discuss how writers like Sarah J.Maas, J.K. Rowling and Brandon Sanderson create such captivating stories. You will learn to create and develop characters, how to create new worlds and how to get a story started. Suggestions are appreciated and will absolutely be considered. Your participation will be valued and cherished, no matter what your experience level may be.

The class will be led by San Francisco native and USF grad student Max Mani, who is in the process of earning his MFA in creative writing. Max has a deep love for fantasy, romantasy, science-fiction and everything in between. Max’s dream career is to teach creative writing at a university, but he needs some practice first!
