Enjoy a live musical performance by local singer Dawn Meredith Smith.

A talented vocalist, Smith will perform a vaudeville-inspired, outdoor set geared towards all ages. Vaudeville acts are light, often comic, theatrical pieces which frequently combine pantomime, dialogue, dancing and song. Listen to upbeat covers, as well as original songs, in this high energy, fun performance.

Dawn Meredith Smith is a native SF clown, singer and musical theatre performer. Recently, she starred in the role of "Sassy" in the Chocolate Rainbow Theatre Company, and can be seen singing in the streets of SF. She is developing Bessie Flies, a children's musical about Bessie Coleman, the first woman of African American descent to receive an international pilot's license and fly a plane. Her favorite roles include Dorothy in The Wiz, Sara in Ragtime and Marie in Vodu. She loves a good Joni Mitchell or Nina Simone cover and has an 8-year-old son.
