The Short Stack Book Club will meet the third Friday of the month to discuss short novels. This month’s selection is The Last White Man by Mohsin Hamid. One morning, a man wakes up to find himself transformed. Overnight, Anders's skin has turned dark, and the reflection in the mirror seems a stranger to him. Soon, reports of similar events begin to surface. Across the land, people are awakening in new incarnations, uncertain how their neighbors, friends, and family will greet them.

Copies are held at the circulation desk for checkout.

Read, discuss ideas and connect through the many book clubs hosted by SFPL.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.
