Visit the library to learn about San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) Green Infrastructure Grants for Homes program, which offers grant funding for green infrastructure projects on residential properties. The goal of the program is to enhance residential properties by adding green spaces, reducing stormwater runoff entering the sewer system, and lowering the stormwater portion of sewer service charges for participants. 

Eligible applicants can receive funding to cover the design and construction costs of approved green infrastructure projects, such as rain gardens, permeable pavement, infiltration trenches, and rainwater harvesting cisterns.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
