Two groundbreaking festivals, one rich legacy—Dr. Halifu Osumare leads an evening of conversation and performance celebrating the impact of Black Choreographers Moving Toward the 21st Century (BCM) and Black Choreographers Festival: Here & Now (BCF), which marks its 20th anniversary this year. This special event features a panel of arts leaders and dynamic solo performances by BCF artists honoring the history and continued influence of these iconic Bay Area festivals.
