Learn about pollinator friendly plants and seed saving at Hawk Creek Farm (203 Cotter Street, San Francisco, CA 94112). Participants will receive a tour of the farm and leave with a planted seed to take home.
- 4:00 p.m. - Gather and walk from Excelsior Branch, with an Excelsior Branch librarian.
- 4:10 p.m. - Workshop by Justine Costerouse: Native plants, pollinator friendly plants and seed saving.
Hawk Creek Farm is an educational urban farm located on unceded territory of the Ramaytush Ohlone people providing programs for adults, students and families to develop skills, understanding and love for land stewardship.
