Mastering Student Loan Repayment While Pursuing Your Goals
Friday, 4/25/2025
1:00 - 2:30

Student loan planning is a topic that can be overwhelming and confusing, especially in the current political environment. Juggling student debt while pursuing careers, raising families and managing other financial priorities can be a challenge, but a well-structured student loan strategy can make a world of difference in your financial health. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Rosario Chacón will discuss how to navigate the complexities of managing student loan debt while building a secure financial future. She will cover essential topics like:

  • Understanding the different types of student loans and repayment options
  • Identifying opportunities for loan forgiveness, if available
  • How student loan planning interconnects with your tax planning
  • Refinancing strategies to lower your interest rates
  • What changes you may need to make if you are currently on a repayment plan

About the presenter: Chacón is the founder of Wealth-Source Financial Planning, an independent fee-only practice to empower individuals and families to achieve truly meaningful financial success.
