Recognizing that the month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month, as well as Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, local artist MK Wong’s visual storytelling will explore universal mental healthcare issues and, more specifically, the social stigmas about mental health felt in minority communities. Representatives from National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will also be present to speak on the topic and offer their services.
