Dr. Susan Golden presents an alternative to the traditional three-stage life course of “learn, earn, and retire," encouraging us to embrace a new, multi-stage life course. In this presentation, learn more about how rethinking your purpose--and how older adults can continue to contribute to our communities and society--are critical components of longer health spans.

About the presenter: Dr. Susan Golden holds a doctorate in science from Harvard Chan School of Public Health, attended Harvard Business School, and was a Distinguished Careers Institute fellow at Stanford University. In her book, STAGE (Not Age), Dr. Golden discusses the significant changes in lifespan and health span over the past century, and the many innovation needs and opportunities for the new 100-year life. She currently is a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an expert on innovation and the unique entrepreneurial opportunities that longer lives present.
