Dog lives in Manhattan and he's tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a companion, a robot. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80's NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach. Will they ever meet again?

This film will be presented at the historic Roxie Theater, located at 16th and Valencia streets. The screening will be in the Little Roxie, at 3125 16th Street, next door to Dalva. Admission is free, but seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is presented by RoxCine in conjunction with the San Francisco Public Library. 

 

Dog vive en Manhattan y está cansado de estar solo. Un día decide construirse un compañero, un robot. Su amistad florece, hasta que se hacen inseparables, al ritmo de la Nueva York de los 80. Una noche de verano, Dog, con gran tristeza, se ve obligado a abandonar a Robot en la playa. ¿Volverán a encontrarse?

Esta película se presentará en el histórico Teatro Roxie, ubicado en las calles 16 y Valencia. La proyección tendrá lugar en el Little Roxie, en el 3125 de la calle 16, al lado de Dalva. La entrada es gratuita, pero los asientos están disponibles por orden de llegada. Este programa es presentado por RoxCine en conjunto con la Biblioteca Pública de San Francisco.
