Ramp up your summer with fingerboarding— a miniature version of skateboarding. Choose the graphics for your board and build cardboard skatepark structures including ramps and jumps. All supplies provided, including a take-home fingerboard. 

For ages 5-18. Youth under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-5727 (starting July 1). 

Groups larger than 5, email wsamgr@sfpl.org for reservations.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Summer Stride

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.

This program will be conducted in English unless otherwise noted.
