Learn about the basic rhythms of son jarocho and try them out on traditional instruments, including panderos (tambourines), quijada (donkey jawbone), tarima (raised wooden platform played as a drum with the feet) and the jarana jarocho (a stringed guitar-like instrument).
As a bonus, participants also will learn about fandango. This workshop will be led by Maria de la Rosa from DíaPaSón.
