Workshop: Henna with Renda Dabit
Learn about the beauty, history and cultural importance of henna. Participants will get their own henna design by artist Renda Dabit. Space limited.
Renda Dabit is founder and executive director of Henna Garden Events & Entertainment. Dabit has pioneered the art of henna body decoration in the U.S. by opening the first U.S. henna salon in Berkeley, California. A meticulous professional with a spontaneous and bohemian spirit, Renda channels her creativity to make each event a unique experience.

Performance: San Francisco Symphony Jazz Concert
A special jazz performance by musicians of the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Jazz lovers will not want to miss this! This event is open to all library patrons and is brought to you by the San Francisco Symphony’s Community Chamber Concert program.
Featured musicians are Jason Hainsworth (San Francisco Conservatory of Music), Scott Pingel (SF Symphony), Keith Saunders (San Francisco Conservatory of Music), and Ed Stephan (SF Symphony).
