Learn about the cultural meaning and history of hula and watch a Hawaiian dance performance by two members of Halau Ha'a Kea o Kinohi. For children and their caregivers.

Halau Ha'a Kea o Kinohi continues their Hula teacher, Kumu Paul Neves' cultural practice of the traditional ways of the Hawaiian people. They emphasize aloha as a lifestyle and ‘ohana (family), alaka'i (leadership/discipline), and lokahi (unity) as the core of our communal expression. Halau Ha'a Kea o Kinohi want to support the creation of hālau 'ohana communities and lay a foundation of aloha with the goal to make a difference in the world through the practice of Hawaiian culture and values.
