Presentation: Smart Moves for Year-End

Tuesday, 12/3/2024
1:00 - 2:15

Learn about smart financial moves you might want to take before the new year.

The pace of life seems to speed up at the end of the year: you’re busy closing deals and finishing projects and then you get caught up in the holiday whirlwind and suddenly it’s all over. Don’t miss your chance to close out the year on a strong financial footing. We’ll work through a checklist of things that need to be done before 12/31 in order to count. From securing your health insurance plan to adjusting your withholding, making tax-deductible charitable contributions, completing Roth conversions, maximizing your retirement plan savings and harvesting losses or gains for a better tax outcome, we’ll help you finish strong and avoid regrets and missed opportunities.

About the speaker: Heather C. Liston, CFP®, EA, is the Principal at Clarity Financial, a woman-owned, fee-only financial planning firm based in San Francisco. She works with individuals and couples on retirement planning; equity compensation; tax planning; risk management; investments; budgeting, saving, and debt management and more. She also prepares tax returns and teaches courses in financial planning and income tax.
